What To Expect

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Upon your arrival in Marrakech, settle into your accommodation and start your Moroccan

adventure. You can explore the vibrant medina where you’ll find busy souks, aromatic spice

stalls, and intricate textiles. Visit the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, and walk through the

bustling Jemaa el-Fna square, famous for its lively street performers and food stalls. Enjoy a

delicious dinner at one of the rooftop restaurants overlooking the square or from a food stall,

immersing yourself in the local culture.

Day 2: Marrakech to Essaouira

Distance: 191 km

Travel Time: Approximately 2h30

Leave Marrakech early in the morning and head towards the coast to Essaouira, a

charming UNESCO-listed city. Upon arrival, stroll through the medina to explore the

ancient fortifications, visit the fishing port where you can see local fishermen at work,

and check out the artisan shops selling beautiful woodwork and other handmade crafts.

Don’t miss the sea ramparts for some fantastic ocean views. Enjoy a fresh seafood

lunch at one of the local restaurants by the beach. Spend the evening relaxing on the

beach or browsing the vibrant souks, then settle in for the night

Day 3: Essaouira to Imsouane (Surf Day)

Distance: 88 km

Travel Time: Approximately 1h30

Today is all about surfing! You’ll head to Imsouane, a laid-back fishing village that

is a hidden gem for surfers. Known for its long, mellow waves, it is ideal for both

beginners and seasoned surfers. If you’ve never surfed before, you can book a lesson

with one of the local surf schools. If you’re already experienced, you can simply enjoy

the waves and the beautiful, uncrowded beach. After a day of surfing, enjoy a fresh

seafood meal by the ocean, soaking in the relaxed atmosphere.

Day 4: Imsouane to Agadir

Distance: 91 km

Travel Time: Approximately 1h30

After your surfing adventure, travel down the coast to Agadir, one of Morocco’s top

beach resorts. Agadir is famous for its long beaches, but also for its vibrant

promenade, luxury resorts, and historic Kasbah. In the morning, visit the Agadir

Oufella Kasbah for panoramic views of the city and coastline. Then, spend the

afternoon strolling along Agadir beach, visiting the Souk El Had market, and

enjoying some local shopping. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing dinner at one of the

seafront restaurants.

Day 5: Agadir to Paradise Valley and Imouzzer

Agadir to Paradise Valley: 30 km (~1h)

Paradise Valley to Imouzzer: 18 km (~30 mins)

Return to Agadir: 48 km (~1h)

Start your day with a trip to Paradise Valley, a stunning natural oasis set among the

High Atlas Mountains. Hike around the natural rock pools, swim in the clear waters,

or just enjoy the tranquility of the palm-lined valley. After your time at Paradise

Valley, head to Imouzzer, a small town famous for its waterfalls (especially in spring)

and honey production. Visit a local cooperative to buy some fresh honey and learn

about traditional honey-making methods. Return to Agadir in the evening for a

relaxing night.

Day 6: Taroudant and Tiout

Agadir to Taroudant: 80 km (~1h30)

For your final day, visit the charming town of Taroudant, often referred to as “Little

Marrakech” because of its red walls and traditional souks. Explore the ancient city

walls and the medina, where you’ll find local artisans selling handmade leather goods,

carpets, and spices. Afterward, visit the nearby village of Tiout, known for its palm

grove and kasbah. You can enjoy a peaceful donkey ride through the oasis or simply

wander through the scenic landscape. In the evening, return to Agadir to conclude

your journey with a final dinner and some relaxation.
